END OF THE 2021 SEASON!
Another fun summer has come to an end. They seem to fly by faster every year. I think our slogan “A place to enjoy great tennis with friends!” sums up the amazing season at Kings Grant.
Our tennis family continued to grow as we welcomed many new members and lots of new faces to Kings Grant. Thank you to all who participated in and contributed to the fun of the organized groups.
Our youth programs were a huge success! Thank you to Sonny and our Junior pro staff for developing our great future tennis stars. You’ve made Kings Grant the best place on the Cape for young players.
Once again our three tournaments were a huge success and we helped raise some good donations for some great causes. Thank you to all the members and players that participated.
Courtside at Kings Grant was a big hit once again this year. Thank you to Jason and Danielle for all your creativity and hard work. Hopefully we’ll be enjoying more fantastic food on the patio for many years to come.
Thank you to Alan, Lea, Sonny, Lauren, Johanna, Jillian, Katja, Tim P, Nate, Liv, Simon and Lily for their energy and dedication this summer. You’re all more like family than co-workers. I appreciate everything you do. Thank you JC Bouvier for organizing the ladder groups and to Tim and Kim Santos for stringing. Also a special thank you to Jim Fellows, the clubhouse renovations look beautiful and your hard work is appreciated.
I have many people ask about membership for the 2022 season. Our Welcome letter for the 2022 season will be going out mid March. Our current members will have until March 31st to join. On April 1st, we will open membership up to the public and it will be a first come first serve basis as long as there is space available in the correct program (group). Please note I will not be holding spaces for current members who choose not to join in the time frame given so be sure to keep an eye out for our welcome letter.
I hope everyone has a healthy and warm winter and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2022.
